The NHL will be halting COVID-19 resting of asymptomatic players, Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli reported Tuesday.
COVID-19 has run its course over the last month through the NHL with 73 percent of rosters testing positive for the virus. Of those, 60 percent came in the last five weeks.
The changes will be made applicable after the All-Star break, Seravalli added. Those players and their families heading to the weekend’s events will be tested ahead of travel, but won’t test in Las Vegas unless they develop symptoms, or if they require cross-border travel.
