Pelletier joins growing list of Stockton Heat players in COVID protocol

@Jakob Pelletier is the latest member of the Stockton Heat to enter the American Hockey League’s COVID-19 protocol.
The Heat added the 20-year-old forward to their COVID-19 list on Friday. Pelletier became the fifth Stockton player sidelined due to the virus, joining @Justin Kirkland, @Martin Pospisil, @Luke Philp, and @Colton Poolman.
In addition to the five players, a member of Stockton’s support staff is also in protocol.

The Heat were originally supposed to visit the Bakersfield Condors on Friday, but the AHL postponed the game due to COVID-19 issues affecting the Condors.
Earlier on Friday, the Heat recalled forward Reid Perepeluk from the ECHL to address the gaps in their lineup. Stockton is currently set to return to action on Saturday to play host to the Tucson Roadrunners.
