<p>Playing in his 801st National Hockey League game, Calgary Flames forward @Trevor Lewis scored a pretty goal to put his team up 2–1 over the San Jose Sharks late in the first period on Thursday.</p>

<p>After taking a pass from @Rasmus Andersson just outside the Sharks&#8217; defensive zone, Lewis sped down the left side and managed to sneak past @Erik Karlsson before tucking the puck between @James Reimer&#8217;s right pad and the post.</p>
<p>@Noah Hanifin also picked up an assist on Lewis&#8217; fifth goal of the season, which came with just 55 seconds remaining in the opening frame.</p>

<p>Playing in his 14th NHL season, Lewis now has five goals and 14 points in 71 games with the Flames. The two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Los Angeles Kings signed a one-year, $800,000 contract to join the Flames last July.</p>
<p>The Flames currently lead the Sharks 2–1 early in the second period of Thursday&#8217;s game at SAP Center.</p>
