Calgary Flames defenceman @Nikita Zadorov followed @Oliver Kylington’s lead in Sunday’s game against the Ottawa Senators, picking up the puck in his own end and skating it up the ice by himself before firing a pin-point wrister past goaltender @Anton Forsberg.
Kylington scored a similar goal in Calgary’s 2-1 overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday, mixing in a give-and-go pass with @Johnny Gaudreau before beating @Jack Campbell on a breakaway.
Zadorov may not have Kylington’s wheels but he certainly possesses a heavier shot. He entered the Senators’ zone all by himself with two Ottawa defenders standing between him and the net; despite this, Zadorov managed to unleash a shot that whistled over Forsberg’s blocker to extend the Flames’ lead to 4-0.
@Blake Coleman picked up the lone assist on Zadorov’s second goal as a Flame. Here’s the video of the play (and Zadorov’s nonchalant reaction to the goal), as posted by Sportsnet’s official Twitter account:

Zadorov and Kylington now both have two goals this season, enough to lead all Flames defencemen. The 26-year-old Moscow product has two goals and three points in his first 10 games with the Flames.
@Andrew Mangiapane, @Elias Lindholm, and @Matthew Tkachuk also have goals today for Calgary, which currently leads Ottawa by a 4-0 score late in the third period.
