Tonight is a rare Thursday, as there is no Calgary Flames hockey. However, a couple of players have been on fire since their situation changed at this year’s trade deadline, and that’s who we’re putting out money on tonight.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted games:
The Chicago Blackhawks’ Arvid Soderblom (4-19-1) vs. The Anaheim Ducks’ Lukas Dostal (10-19-1).
The Tampa Bay Lightning’s Andrei Vasilevskiy (25-16-1) vs. The San Jose Sharks’ MacKenzie Blackwood (9-18-3).

Anthony Duclair point (-118)

Your $10.00 bet would return $18.50.
Revenge game, here we come!
The San Jose Sharks traded Anthony Duclair to the Tampa Bay Lightning at this year’s trade deadline. It didn’t take Duclair long to find success with his new team. In his four games since the trade, Duclair has goals in three of four games but points in all four games, totalling five points.
The Sharks are allowing a league-high 4.9 goals against over their last 10 games, while over that same span, the Lightning are averaging the most goals for, averaging 4.6 per game.
With all this to consider, Duclair also got a promotion to the top line, where he is projected to play alongside Brayden Point and the league’s leader in points, Nikita Kucherov. These are exciting players to be exposed to.

Frank Vatrano over 3.5 shots on goal (+125)

Your $10.00 bet would return $25.00.
Frank Vatrano has also benefited from this year’s trade deadline, as he has been firing on all cylinders lately. He has cleared this line in five of his six games since the deadline, averaging 4.7 shots on 7.3 shot attempts.
Against the Chicago Blackhawks, Vatrano has covered this line in both meetings this season, averaging 5.0 shots on 9.5 shot attempts. Chicago is allowing the sixth most shots to wingers, averaging 13.6 shots per game.
