The Monday night slate consists of just two games, but both games have heavy implications for this Western Conference race.
The Vancouver Canucks can clinch a playoff birth with a win and a St. Louis Blues loss. If the St. Louis Blues win, they would come within two points of the Vegas Golden Knights for the final playoff spot. If the Vegas Golden Knights win and the Los Angeles Kings lose, they will tie for third place in the Pacific division standings.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted games:
The Vegas Golden Knights’ Logan Thompson (19-12-5) vs. The St. Louis Blues’ Jordan Binnington (25-19-3).
The Los Angeles Kings’ Cam Talbot (22-16-6) vs. The Vancouver Canucks’ Casey DeSmith (11-5-6).

Jack Eichel over 3.5 shots on goal (-150)

Your $15.00 bet would return $25.00.
Jack Eichel has cleared this line in eight of his last 10 games, averaging 5.3 shots on 8.1 shot attempts per game. On the road this season, Eichel is clearing at a 74% clip, averaging 4.1 shots on 6.9 shot attempts per game.
Against the Blues, Eichel has cleared this line in four of his last five games, averaging 5.0 shots on 7.4 shot attempts. This includes both games this year, where he finished with six and seven shot attempts, with 10 shot attempts in each game. The Blues are allowing the third most shots on goal against over their last 10 games, averaging 33.9 per game.

Los Angeles Kings / Vancouver Canucks under 5.5 goals (-110)

Your $10.00 bet would return $19.09.
Now, taking the under at 5.5 is scary, especially in today’s NHL. But these two teams are in playoff mode already, and it’s showing in their defensive game.
Over the Kings previous 10 games, they have gone under this total in six games, while the Canucks have gone under in seven. Historically, when these two teams meet, they have gone under this total in nine of their last 10 games.

Last Game Recap

Calgary Flames Team Total Under 3.5 Goals – WON – (+$10.00)
Tage Thompson Point – WON – (+$7.00)
Well, I hate betting against the Flames, but sometimes you must in order to make some money, and that’s just what we had to do on Sunday. UPL continued his hot streak and allowed just one goal. Tage Thompson finished the game with one goal and one assist.
All-Time Record: 56-66 (-$130.58)
