There’s not much more to say other than what’s already in the title.

In case you missed it:

  • Here’s the last update.
  • Your Hitmen report.
  • Rinat Valiev has been sent down after eating pressbox popcorn for two games.
  • A look at potential future Flames, provided they keep their pick.

Back up to a point-per-game for Dube, who put in a stellar week of work with two goals and a primary assist, all at 5v5.

Nothing going for Gawdin this week.

Didn’t play this week. ASU is getting some hype as a dark horse Frozen Four team, however.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, BIK Karlskoga, Allsvenskan

Just as things looked to be on the up-and-up, Lindstrom slipped. Zero points in two Allsvenskan games this year.

Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3769151212916.16
Change from last week2112222+1.36
It’s good for Lomberg that he has been a reliable option for the Heat this year. I have severe doubts about his NHL future, but he’s likely going to get another contract.

Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Michigan State, NCAA (Big 10)

Also didn’t play this week. Denver is likely a lock for the Frozen Four, by the way.

Matthew Phillips – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4410172716211524.45
Change from last week2011111-0.22
Just an assist for Phillips this week. Still looking to find that hot hand he once had.

Brett Pollock – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date37291177411.85
Change from last week2000000-0.72
Two games played this week. Served a penalty, I guess.

Martin Pospisil – C/LW, Sioux City Musketeers, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3312314323331629.92
Change from last week1011100-0.39
Now for the main feature:
The context behind this is pretty gross: Pospisil was in the box for roughing and then had garbage thrown at him by the Omaha fans, and he accordingly lashed out. Probably a bit over the edge, but maybe people shouldn’t throw garbage at teenage hockey players. No discipline announced yet although he missed the next game.
Just an assist in that game before he was removed.

Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4720204018341221.08
Change from last week4011111-1.37
Just a lonely assist for Roman in four games this week. Been hot and cold recently.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sudbury Wolves, OHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4920335328402328.65
Change from last week3123322-0.14
Another fine week for Ruzicka. Has found a comfortable spot on Sudbury’s first line.

Kerby Rychel – F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4319173622251531.88
Change from last week2000000-2.48
Unusually quiet week for Rychel.

Filip Sveningsson – LW, IK Oskarshamn, Allsvenskan

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date35111021816729.32
Change from last week2000000-1.78
Still in a bit of a slump.

Eetu Tuulola – RW, HPK, SM-Liiga

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date491022331619924.22
Change from last week2044422+1.97
Four assists for Tuulola this week in just two games. He’s also hot and cold, but he has a statline in a pro league that you really can’t ignore.

Rinat Valiev – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe

Back in Stockton, but not back soon enough to play.

Juuso Valimaki – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe

Really feeling it at the AHL level. I give him three more weeks.

Two different Gillies this week. Saved 23/26 (0.884) in the first game against Colorado after the Heat were leading 2-0, but followed it up with a 29/31 (0.935) the next game.
