Prospects don’t get that much airtime, pretty much only limited to streaming services. This week, the Rimouski Oceanic and Quebec Remparts had the opportunity to do a matinee battle live on Sportsnet. Thankfully for the Flames, their prospects came up big.

In case you missed it:

Dillon Dube – F, Stockton Heat, AHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date19513181010637.75
Change from last week2112111+0.24
The extended AHL look seems to be working well for Dube. He hasn’t yet hit a speed bump during his minors stint, and is generally looking more comfortable with every passing game.

Zach Fischer – RW, Kansas City Mavericks, ECHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date273586656.8

Probably injured; there really isn’t any word out there but he hasn’t played in two weeks.

Spencer Foo – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date451210221218919.48
Change from last week2112121+0.94
Foo has shown a bit more urgency in his game recently, which is good, but it all still feels too little, too late.

Glenn Gawdin – C/RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date41101121919820.41
Change from last week2000000-1.05
Nothing going for Gawdin this week.

Josh Healey – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date341676338.2
Change from last week1000000-0.25
Healthy scratched once.

D’Artagnan Joly – RW/C, Rimouski Oceanic

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4716203623261817.84
Change from last week3213322+0.37
D’Artagnan put on a show on national TV, scoring twice in under a minute with two beautiful shots against Quebec on Sportsnet. He’s had two three-point weeks in a row, so maybe he’s finally returning back to form for Rimouski.

Pavel Karnaukhov – LW/C, CSKA Moscow, KHL/Zvezda, VHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe

Two assists for Karnaukhov, including a shorthanded one. He’s been a pretty good middle sixer in the KHL this year.

Demetrious Koumontzis – LW, Arizona State University, NCAA (Independent)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3021214712613.81
Change from last week2112222+1.14
Finally broke his goalless drought, picking up his first since the opening weekend of NCAA hockey.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, BIK Karlskoga, Allsvenskan

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
SHL Up to date321343324

SWE-1 Up to date302211132.58
Change from last week2022111+32.58
His switch to the Allsvenskan seems to be working out for him so far: two assists in two games this week. Lindstorm had a pretty solid offensive side to him in the U20 Superelit, so hopefully hopping back down a level can help him reclaim that.

Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date355813109714.8
Change from last week2011211+0.31
An assist for Lomberg this week.

Andrew Mangiapane – LW/C, Stockton Heat – X

Back in the NHL, and with another point to his name.

Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Michigan State, NCAA (Big 10)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date140000000

Adam Ollas Mattsson – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date43471186410.19
Change from last week2011100+0.47
A humble assist for AOM this week.

Andrew Nielsen – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date280774329.96
Change from last week2011100+0.76
Picked up an assist this week.

Mathias Emilio Pettersen – C/LW, Denver Pioneers, NCAA (NCHC)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date25616221014631.68
Change from last week2000000-2.75
Pettersen’s slump continues. Since the Div 1A WJC, he’s fallen seven NHLe points in just over a month’s time. Maybe it’s just freshmen nerves, but he hasn’t been looking at all like the same player he was earlier in the season.

Matthew Phillips – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4210162615201424.67
Change from last week2000010-1.23
Nothing for Phillips this week.

Brett Pollock – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe

Martin Pospisil – C/LW, Sioux City Musketeers, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe

Just a powerplay marker for Pospisil this week.

Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date465914810620.07
Change from last week4112121+1.67
Continues to rack up powerplay points, picking up a man advantage goal this week.

Milos Roman – C, Vancouver Giants, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4320193917331122.45
Change from last week3202020-0.46
Two goals for Roman this week.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sudbury Wolves, OHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4619315025382128.79
Change from last week2123131+0.5
His junior hockey renaissance continues in Sudbury, picking up three more points this week. His NHLe just with Sudbury is 31.30, having picked up 13 points in 11 games with the club.

Kerby Rychel – F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4319173622251533.36
Change from last week2011111-0.66
Just an assist for Rychel this week.

Filip Sveningsson – LW, IK Oskarshamn, Allsvenskan

Eetu Tuulola – RW, HPK, SM-Liiga

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date471018281217722.24
Change from last week2101111-0.16
Scored a powerplay goal this week. Kind of his thing.

Rinat Valiev – D, Stockton Heat – X

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date341101155312.89
Change from last week
In Calgary pending Travis Hamonic’s return. Not so sure he’ll play, as the Flames would only have one right-handed defenceman in their lineup if he does (barring a Valiev-Prout pairing, which sounds yikes), but we’ll see if he can crack the lineup.

Juuso Valimaki – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date412331129.89
Change from last week2112211+9.96
Picked up his second professional goal and an assist this week. If he keeps it up, I think he’ll be in Calgary before the trade deadline. Hard to keep him down, otherwise.

Dmitri Zavgorodniy – C/LW, Rimouski Oceanic, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date5123305329372024.20
Change from last week3325141+0.91
Not to be overshadowed by teammate and fellow Flames prospect Joly, Zavgorodniy picked up two shorthanded goals in Saturday’s nationally broadcast 6-0 demolition of the Remparts. He had a great week overall, getting back to his usual production after a prolonged lull.

Jon Gillies – G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%
Up to date2814620.867

Pulled after 26 minutes after allowing four goals on 17 shots. Unfortunately, this is the norm for him now.

Mason McDonald – G, Kansas City Mavericks

GPTOISV%
Up to date169130.911

Started all three of KC’s games this week, posting a shutout, a 0.906 performance, and a 0.929 performance. Pretty good stuff for a guy who likely is running out of space to get a second contract down.

Tyler Parsons – G, Stockton Heat

Had a solid relief effort for Gillies, stopping 20 of 22 (0.909). His start went just about the same, stopping 28 of 31 (0.903).

Nick Schneider – G, Kansas City Mavericks
