Skelleftea and Lindstrom finally reached a breaking point. The 20-year-old has seen dramatic cuts in his ice time (he’s played roughly 27 minutes in his last five games, though 14 of those minutes have come in just four of those games) and has finally been shipped off on loan to the Allsvenskan after being an SHL regular for the past two and a half seasons. Not a great development, but hopefully Lindstrom can find ice time and some of his offensive flair in a lower league.

Valimaki’s back! After becoming a permanent departure following the 2017-18 season, he’s back in the AHL to get back in the groove of pro hockey, as he hasn’t played since November. We’ll see how long he sticks around, as it’s hard to keep a player like Valimaki down for long, but it’s very hard to replace him given the way Kylington has been playing as of late.
