Here’s your hockey fix for today. Hopefully you can stretch it out until Saturday.

In case you missed it

Rasmus Andersson – D, Stockton Heat, AHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current31418221311827.35
Change from last week3011010-1.65
Until Mangiapane and Hrivik were demoted, Andersson was second in scoring on the Heat, and first in points per game. The kid is ridiculous.

Austin Carroll – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current152022225.14
Change from last week21011112.18
Carroll hit the scoresheet again this week, after finally potting a goal last week. He’s not a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but he really doesn’t deserve the 13th forward treatment he’s been getting (while guys like Luke Gazdic get ice time in Stockton).

Dillon Dube – C/LW, Kelowna Rockets, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current2718213920281434.35
Change from last week00000000
Dube was actually given a well-earned Christmas vacation by the Rockets. He’ll return to action tomorrow.

Zach Fischer – RW, Spokane Chiefs, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current3619143322221721.80
Change from last week5134322-0.71
Still a model of consistency for the Chiefs, adding four points in five games this week. I couldn’t find any readily available Fischer highlights, so enjoy this high quality interview Fischer gave. It is set in an empty locker room and he mumbles throughout. Points to whoever can transcribe it.

Spencer Foo – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current348816714618.14
Change from last week3101010-0.52
Just an empty netter this week.

Adam Fox – D, Harvard Crimson, ECAC

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current130101044114.51
Change from last week3011111-2.46
Fox finally returned to college action, and was reportedly stellar, but only had one point to show for it. It was his first 5v5 primary point of the season, so good for him.

Glenn Gawdin – C/RW, Swift Current Broncos, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current4335468144613144.79
Change from last week23365321.29
Gawdin exploded this week just as his old linemates returned from WJC action. Six points in two games puts him back in third in WHL scoring. He’s also third and fifth in goals and assists, respectively.

Josh Healey – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current260110101.48
Change from last week1000000-0.06
Didn’t play in two of Stockton’s games this week. Unknown why.

D’Artagnan Joly – RW, Baie-Comeau Drakkar, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current3314213519301821.74
Change from last week21342211.24
He isn’t scoring in volumes, but Joly’s consistency and tendency to rack up primary points is very promising. Four points in two games this week.

Pavel Karnaukhov – LW/C, CSKA Moscow, KHL/Zvezda, VHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
KHL current1102221111.03
Change from last week00000000
VHL current2911182917221331.16
Change from last week2000000-2.13
On a bit of a cold streak in the VHL, having gone point-less for two games in a row for the first time this year.

Morgan Klimchuk – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current3511132414181126.43
Change from last week3101010-1.27
The shining star for the depleted Heat has been Klimchuk, who recorded another goal this week.

Oliver Kylington – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current32216181111821.68
Change from last week3011111-1.27
Kylington came back from the flu to record an assist this week.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current272133225.28
Change from last week1000000-0.21
Lindstrom is finally back in action, but only played one game.

Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current334711107612.
Change from last week21121101.89
I think the reason why Lomberg got the call over guys like Morgan Klimchuk, Emile Poirier, Spencer Foo, et al. is because of recent form. He’s been on fire for the Heat (these puns are occasionally unavoidable), chipping in offensively and on special teams. His goal this week was a shorthanded one.

Andrew Mangiapane – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current2914193319241543.85
Change from last week00000000
The Heat have a game on Wednesday whereas the Flames are completely off until a late afternoon Friday practice. With Mangiapane sent down, he doesn’t get a bye week, but he does get a game in, probably back on the top line.
(If you’re wondering, it wasn’t a paper transaction. If they’re reassigned to the AHL club, they must actually report to the team.)

Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Sioux Falls Stampede, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current318101815161313.33
Change from last week2101111-0.13
Another goal for Mattson this week.

Adam Ollas Mattsson – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date140000000
Change from last week00000000
Unclear what’s going on and why he’s not playing.

Matthew Phillips – C/RW, Victoria Royals, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current4530386830482335.93
Change from last week2033232-0.02
Lots of positive play from Phillips recently. Three points, all primary, and two at 5v5 this week.

Emile Poirier – LW/RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current3431215914817
Change from last week3000000-1.65
Really wish Poirier would be given better billing than the third line.

Brett Pollock – LW/C, Stockton Heat, AHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current150110002.57
Change from last week2000000-0.39
Played in two games this week.

Daniel Pribyl – RW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current00000000
Still injured.

Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current3611011107618.54
Change from last week00000000
Didn’t play this week. Injured.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sarnia Sting, OHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3920224216331226.49
Change from last week2011000-0.77
Really having a hard time out there. His offence has completely dried up since November. Just a noise point this week.

Hunter Shinkaruk – F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date331161711141019.85
Change from last week30221000.58
Racked up two assists for the Heat this week.

Hunter Smith – RW, Kansas City Mavericks, ECHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date35981713171311.15
Change from last week00110100.65
Didn’t play this week, but that didn’t prevent him from being credited with an assist. No given reason what’s happening with him.

Filip Sveningsson – LW, HV71, Superelit/SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
SHL current110000000
Change from last week00000000
Superelit current2010172716201222.14
Change from last week31453330.92
Superelit play kicked off again this week, and Sveningsson got back in form. He racked up five points in three games during the Top Ten group stage of Superelit.

Eetu Tuulola – RW, HPK, SM-Liiga

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current319413510413.65
Change from last week3101010-1.46
Back in the lineup for HPK, but only one goal this week.

Juuso Valimaki – D, Tri-City Americans, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current1951520914625.10
Change from last week00000000
Injured, undisclosed.

Tyler Wotherspoon – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current35418221213924.22
Change from last week30222110.13
Wotherspoon is scoring more often than most Heat forwards (ditto for Kylington and Andersson), begging the question: when does he get a look?

Jon Gillies – G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%SA
Current231380.820.921712
Change from last week2118.720.00258
Gillies recorded a 28-save shutout this weekend. Pretty good.

Mason McDonald – G, Kansas City Mavericks

GPTOISV%SA
Current2011290.891562
Change from last week160-0.00535
Allowed six goals on 35 shots.

Tyler Parsons – G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%SA
ECHL Current1910340.907567
Change from last week
AHL Current159.950.82540
Change from last week
Parsons’ first game with the Heat couldn’t have gone any worse. The kid got shelled, allowing seven goals on 40 shots.

Nick Schneider – G, Calgary Hitmen, WHL

GPTOISV%SA
Current3921990.8851178
Change from last week3128094
Schneider got yanked from the net twice this week. First after allowing five goals on 32 shots in two periods against the Regina Pats, and then allowing six goals on 22 shots in 28 minutes against the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Hitmen are depleted after the trade madness, and they weren’t that good to begin with, but it sucks to see Schneider be a part of the problem.
