To answer my question from last week, Dillon Dube will not stay in Calgary.

Zach Fischer – RW, Kansas City Mavericks, ECHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date221455445.22
Change from last week3112222+1.59
Fischer picked up his first professional goal in addition to an assist in a wild 6-4 game against Rapid City, where he also picked up the first star.

Spencer Foo – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date34108181014721.1
Change from last week2112121+1.17
Foo contributed a goal and assist during Stockton’s weekend. He’s been heating up the last few weeks, but so has the rest of the team. Might be too little, too late.

Glenn Gawdin – C/RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date307613413417.27

Back from a minor injury. Added another goal to his name.

Josh Healey – D, Stockton Heat

Up to date271565338.86
Change from last week1011000+1.2
Played one game and picked up an assist, but healthy scratched in the second game of Stockton’s weekend.

D’Artagnan Joly – RW/C, Rimouski Oceanic

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3612162817211318.11
Change from last week2000000-1.07
Didn’t have a great weekend with his new team. No points, and on the ice for a handful of goals against.

Pavel Karnaukhov – LW/C, CSKA Moscow, KHL/Zvezda, VHL

Blanked in both of CSKA’s games this week.

Demetrious Koumontzis – LW, Arizona State University, NCAA (Independent)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date24191049312.33
Change from last week2000000-1.13
A bit of concern developing here, as Koumontzis was listed as the extra forward for ASU’s second game against Boston College this weekend. The NCAA allows hockey teams to dress more than 18 players if they see fit, and Koumontzis, who hasn’t scored since the opening weekend and hasn’t picked up a point since early December, was given that designation. It generally means less ice time and reduced role, which is fine for a freshman forward, but not a great look regardless.

Oliver Kylington – D, Stockton Heat – X

Still in Calgary. I’ve been tempted to remove him from this list, but I know as soon as I do he’ll be reassigned to Stockton.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date271232213.55
Change from last week1011010+1.09
Points in back-to-back weeks for Linus. Maybe he’s heating up, but his ice time still paints him as a fourth line guy.

Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date2454977514.94
Change from last week2202222+2.26
Two goals from Lomberg. If Mangiapane is going to come back down to Stockton to get some time in post-injury, it makes sense that Lomberg is going to come back up.

Andrew Mangiapane – LW/C, Stockton Heat – X

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe

Off the IR, but still in Calgary. How long though? We’ll see (probably will be announced before this post goes up).

Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Michigan State, NCAA (Big 10)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date80000000
Change from last week20000000
Mattson finally got into both of MSU’s games this weekend, which is a first this season. As you may have gathered, he isn’t playing a heck of a lot this season. Estimated time on ice being what it is, but he’s only on for about six minutes per game.

Adam Ollas Mattsson – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date32371076412.45
Change from last week2011111+0.49
Another assist from AOM this week. He’s been the anchor on Stockton’s bare bones defence. Calgary doesn’t need to sign him to an ELC right now, but he’s probably the best candidate to get one.

Andrew Nielsen – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1805533211.07
Change from last week2000000-1.38
Playing on Stockton’s third pairing now.

Mathias Emilio Pettersen – C/LW, Denver Pioneers, NCAA (NCHC)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1851318810436
Change from last week2011100-2.25
Back in action, and still racking up the points. Obviously, he was never going to keep up the 2.0 PPG pace he started the season with, but I’m curious to see how he’ll finish heading into the NCAA hockey stretch.

Matthew Phillips – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3110132314171329.57
Change from last week2134242+3.46
The headliner has had himself a year. Since starting the year point-less in eight games, he has racked up 23 in 23, with the majority of that scoring being recent as he’s found a home for himself on the top line. If Lomberg doesn’t do it for you as a potential call-up, maybe Phillips gets a chance?

Brett Pollock – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date29291177415.12
Change from last week2011010+0.32
Phillips’ former linemate isn’t doing that poorly for himself, also continuing a hot (mild?) streak.

Martin Pospisil – C/LW, Sioux City Musketeers, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date2211233418261238.67

Back from the WJC, having picked up two points in five games for the Slovaks. He was generally a nuisance for the opposition, and naturally led the Slovaks in PIMs with eight.
He still hasn’t suited up for Sioux City though. He’s fallen from first to 12th in USHL scoring during his departure, although everyone ahead of him has played anywhere from five to 12 more games than him.

Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date37371076517.82
Change from last week2011100+0.87
Picked up an assist in KHL action this week. The KHL’s website tells me he is #289 in the “Priceless league,” and I guess that’s good.

Milos Roman – C, Vancouver Giants, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date321714311326823.99
Change from last week2112110+0.05
Finished the WJC at just under a point per game, with three goals and an assist in five games. He was tied for first in Slovak goalscoring.
He also brought that back over (it’s hard to say “back” as the WJC was in Victoria, but I digress) to the WHL, picking up a goal and an assist for the Giants along with a first star nod.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sarnia Sting, OHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3511263717271428
Change from last week2022121-0.89
Ruzicka, Slovakia’s captain, finished with two goals and an assist.
Back in the OHL, he picked up two assists upon his return.

Kerby Rychel – F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3215142919201336.12
Change from last week2022010+0.25
Picked up where he left off in Stockton.

Filip Sveningsson – LW, IK Oskarshamn, Allsvenskan

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date269918813733.83
Change from last week
Didn’t pick up a point in his four WJC games, partially owing to a bout of illness, partially owing to being on the fourth line. Still hasn’t returned to Allsvenskan action.

Eetu Tuulola – RW, HPK, SM-Liiga

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3761521813621.05
Change from last week1011000+0.45
Another powerplay assist for Tuulola in his lone game this week.

Rinat Valiev – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date250664229.56
Change from last week2011100+0.9
Back from a minor injury, picked up an assist.

Dmitri Zavgorodniy – C/LW, Rimouski Oceanic, QMJHL

Just an assist from Zavgorodniy this week. In a bit of a minor slump.

Stockton’s goaltending issues don’t appear to be getting a resolution any time soon. Parsons allowed three in the first period on 19 shots (0.842) and was given the prompt hook (backup and old ATO buddy Ryan Faragher didn’t fare much better, allowing four on 26 shots). It wasn’t injury related, as he returned the next night to allow six against Colorado. Granted, the Heat were leading 7-3 in the third period before Colorado came storming back, but 23 of 29 (0.793) doesn’t inspire much confidence. Let’s see how things are handled in the next few weeks with two healthy goalies.
