“Kinda” because the CHL, USHL, and European kids have already begun (and even then, in different intervals), the AHL kids will get underway this week, and the college prospects have a few more weeks to go. So just kinda.

In case you missed it:

D’Artagnan Joly – RW/C, Baie-Comeau Drakkar, QMJHL

Up to date534755332.6
Change from last week3134332-2.33
Joly has been putting in work as the Drakkar’s #1 RW and starting to turn heads among QMJHL scouts, at least those that post on Twitter. Four points in three games for the productive winger.

Pavel Karnaukhov – LW/C, CSKA Moscow, KHL/Zvezda, VHL

Everyone’s favourite Russian pro tweener prospect finally hit the scoresheet this week, picking up a goal and an assist for the Red Army’s farm team.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date51011116.40
Change from last week211111+6.40
Linus has made the most of his recent promotion to Skelleftea’s second line (one of Sweden’s most comprehensive stat resources notes that he has occasionally been listed on the first line – make of that what you will), scoring his first goal of the season. He currently sits third for average ice time among Skelleftea forwards.

Martin Pospisil – C/LW, Sioux City Musketeers, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date223543257.4
Change from last week
It’s two games into his season, but Martin Pospisil has been absolute dynamite thus far for Sioux City. The team has only scored eight goals thus far, and Pospisil has seen his name attached to five of them. He’s an overager in a league where overagers are generally in college, but it’s still an eye-popping performance from a work-in-progress type player.
(Turn your volume down for these highlights.)
Perhaps the most impressive stat is that he’s only picked up two penalty minutes thus far.

Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL

Back from injury. Still hasn’t put up any points.

Milos Roman – C, Vancouver Giants, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date402220012.38
Change from last week2222+12.38
The Vancouver centre finally found the scoresheet with two assists in his fourth game after a very slow start to the season. He hasn’t been on the ice for much at all.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sarnia Sting, OHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date330333326.49
Change from last week222222
Two more games, two more goals for Ruzicka. He’s struggled with consistency so hopefully this is a step in the right direction.

Filip Sveningsson – LW, IK Oskarshamn, Allsvenskan

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date420212124.44
Change from last week2111
Another goal for Sveningsson, who continues to make noise in the Allsvenskan despite averaging fewer than 10 minutes of ice time per game.

Eetu Tuulola – RW, HPK, SM-Liiga

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date712311015.88
Change from last week3-11.92
After a dynamite start to the season, Tuulola put up zeroes in three games this week.

Dmitri Zavgorodniy – C/LW, Rimouski Oceanic, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date423544329.11
Change from last week2-29.11
Ditto Zavgorodniy, who failed to find the scoresheet in two games this week.
