Alexis Lafreniere must be thankful that his draft stock is going up because he has little Dmitry Zavgorodniy on his line.

In case you missed it:

Dillon Dube- F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date606633139.85
Change from last week3044221+13.28
Stockton’s set-up man so far, Dube added four more assists this week. Here’s a pretty nice one:

Lucas Feuk- LW, Södertälje SK, Superelit/Allsvenskan

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Supetelit up to date661767623.92
Change from last week2202222-1.71
Allsvenskan up to date71010104.45
Change from last week
Feuk has re-emerged in Sweden’s U20 league, and he’s still a bit too good for that level. Södertälje’s U20 team isn’t anything to write home about (they have a -43 goal differential 15 games through the season), but Feuk is a bright spot. Adjusted for time missed, he’s been involved on 50% of their goals, and on 65% of their 5v5 goals.

Glenn Gawdin- RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date615625239.85
Change from last week3022111-14.29
Dube’s the expected choice for “next call-up,” but don’t count out Gawdin just yet. He’s taken another step to begin the season.

Justin Kirkland- LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date412322239.85
Change from last week1000000-9.96
Played a game, but he’s injured now.

Demetrious Koumontzis- LW, Arizona State University, NCAA (Independent)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date622412019.73
Change from last week2101010-2.47
Just a power play goal and not much else for Koumontzis this week.

Mitchell Mattson- LW, Michigan State, NCAA (Big 10)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date10000000
Change from last week00000000
The forgotten prospect (I was sleepy last week and forgot to add him), Mattson played in just one of MSU’s two games thus far. He didn’t even dress for their exhibition game against the USA U18s, which is a bit worrying.

Carl-Johan Lerby- D, Malmo Redhawks, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1131411117.77
Change from last week2000000-3.95
Has cooled off considerably since his hot start to the season. Still playing heavy minutes, however.

Linus Lindstrom- C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1241525220.36
Change from last week2000000-4.08
Another Swede who’s cooled off, but he’s still chugging away on Skelleftea’s second line.

Ryan Lomberg- LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date622434326.57
Change from last week3101111-13.28
Another goal for Lomberg this week, who has yet to stop picking up points for the Heat. Let’s see how long it lasts.

Andrew Nielsen- D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date60000000
Change from last week30000000
Nielsen hasn’t picked up any points yet, though it’s not for a lack of effort. He’s second among Stockton defenders in shots on goal with nine, sitting two behind Brandon Davidson.

Ilya Nikolayev- C, Loko, MHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date16961513111023.83
Change from last week2000000-3.41
A quiet week for Nikolayev, who didn’t dress in two of Loko’s games this week. That’s not totally surprising, as MHL teams have plenty of rotation options in their lineups and Loko was facing a pretty weak opponent (they won 7-0 and 9-1 in Nikolayev’s absence).

Joshua Nodler- C/RW, Michigan State

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date201101013.65
Change from last week00000000
A point in your NCAA debut is a great way to kick things off. Nodler’s currently 2C for the Spartans.

Jakob Pelletier- LW, Moncton Wildcats, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date10881611121037.26
Change from last week2213232-0.58
Ho hum, just two more goals this week for Pelletier, including a shorthanded one.

Mathias Emilio Pettersen- C/LW, Denver Pioneers, NCAA (NCHC)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date615634336
Change from last week20220100
Two more assists for Emilio this week. His numbers don’t match his high octane start to last season, but he’s been more consistent thus far, which is always a good sign.

Matthew Phillips- RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date632534333.21
Change from last week3123222+5.64
A goal and two assists for Phillips this week, who would also like to throw his name into the call-up hat.

Luke Philp- C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date40000000
Change from last week20000000
Back in the lineup, but not doing much in it.

Martin Pospisil- C/LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date60000000
Change from last week30000000
Pospisil got his first misconduct of the year, which is par for the course. The scoring hasn’t seemed to catch up, however.

Milos Roman- C, Vancouver Giants, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date14741159519.46
Change from last week3022111-0.8
Roman’s numbers may not look promising, but he’s the victim of a pretty quiet Giants offence. He’s still chipping in on 30% of their goals, and has primary contributions on 25% of them.

Adam Ruzicka- C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date60111006.64
Change from last week1000000-6.64
Also not much going on for Ruzicka this week. The Heat are kind of a top-heavy team.

Filip Sveningsson- LW, IK Oskarshamn, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date121122228.15
Change from last week2011111+3.26
An assist for Sveningsson this week as he works out the growing pains of jumping to top level professional hockey.

Eetu Tuulola- RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date631433226.57
Change from last week32021210
Tuulola has been one of the standouts early in the year, already having racked up two game winners for the Heat thus far:

Rinat Valiev- D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date60110006.64
Change from last week1000000-6.64
Another quiet weekend for Valiev.

Alexander Yelesin- D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date611212113.28
Change from last week30111110
Yelesin has a heck of a cannon, and he’s not afraid to use it:

Dmitri Zavgorodniy- C/RW, Rimouski Oceanic, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1310182816191250.16
Change from last week35510886+8.24
The Lafreniere influence is a discussion best held for later, so for the meantime, let’s just appreciate Zavgorodniy scoring ten points this week. The kid benefits from having talent right across from him, but he’s no slouch either

Jon Gillies- G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%
Up to date1600.958
Change from last week
The much beleaguered Gillies made his return to hockey after beginning the season with an injury, and had a fine debut. He stopped 23 of 24 for Stockton.

Tyler Parsons- G, Kansas City Mavericks

Lower body injury, week to week.

Nick Schneider- G, Kansas City Mavericks/Stockton Heat

Saw his first bits of game action this season, and in both minor leagues. He was solid in relief for Artyom Zagidulin, stopping 15 of 16 in just over two periods worth of action. His ECHL debut also went smoothly, stopping 24 of 25.

Dustin Wolf- G, Everett Silvertips, WHL

GPTOISV%
Up to date9521.530.945
Change from last week2121.63+0.005
Wolf has allowed two goals against in his last three games. That’s on 90 shots against, too. He’s legit.

Artyom Zagidulin- G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%
Up to date5255.170.889
Change from last week275-0.031
The sheen has worn off a bit for Zagidulin, who had his first truly horrendous game in North America where he was yanked after allowed four goals on 11 shots (0.636 SV%) and had a decent if unconvincing follow up where he allowed 24 on 27 (0.889 SV%). He’s likely ECHL bound when Parsons returns.
