Calgary Flame players dropped their gloves a total of 19 times in the 2022-23 season. Dennis Gilbert led the way with five fights in his first year with the Flames. The next closest Flame was Milan Lucic with three.

4. February 25, 2023. Milan Lucic vs Kurtis MacDermid
Rule one of fight club in the NHL: Do not mess with Milan Lucic. He knocks out one of the toughest heavyweights in the NHL in this tilt.

3. November 19, 2022: Dennis Gilbert vs Ryan Lomberg
This was Gilbert’s coming out party as one of the better fighters in the NHL. He took on a tough customer in Lomberg and beat him pretty good.

2. January 23, 2023: Milan Lucic vs Mathieu Olivier
This was the most decisive victory of the season by any Flames fighter. Lucic took on Olivier’s challenge and handed him a beating.

1. December 18, 2022: Dennis Gilbert vs Jonah Gadjovich
This might have been the fight of the year in the entire NHL. There was not a lot of defence in this scrap between Gilbert and Gadjovich.
