<p>It&#8217;s been a good day for the Calgary Flames.</p>

<p>Shortly after the Flames announced they had <a href="https://flamesnation.ca/2022/02/14/flames-acquire-tyler-toffoli-from-montreal-canadiens/">acquired</a> forward @Tyler Toffoli from the Montreal Canadiens, the National Hockey League unveiled its &#8220;Three Stars&#8221; for the week ending Feb. 13.</p>
<p>Flames goaltender @Jacob Markstrom topped that list.</p>

<p>Markstrom, 32, went a perfect 3–0–0 in three games last week to help the Flames extend their winning streak to six. He also picked up his league-leading eighth shutout in a 6–0 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Feb. 9.</p>
<p>The Flames signed Markstrom to a six-year, $6 million-AAV deal back in 2020. He has a 20–10–5 record and a .926 save percentage in 36 games with the Flames this season.</p>
<p>Markstrom was <a href="https://flamesnation.ca/2021/11/01/jacob-markstrom-named-nhls-first-star-of-the-week/">previously named</a> the NHL&#8217;s first star of the week back on Nov. 1, following three consecutive wins where he posted two shutouts and an .989 save percentage.</p>
<p>It remains to be seen whether Markstrom will be in net when the Flames — with Toffoli now in tow — return to action against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Feb. 15.</p>
