The link above tells you all you really need to know about Dube this week. He’s dynamite.
Zach Fischer – RW, Rapid City Rush, ECHL

Didn’t play for Rapid City this week. No word on whether it’s injury or healthy scratches, but if it’s the latter, that’s pretty troubling.
Spencer Foo – RW, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 56 | 15 | 17 | 32 | 19 | 24 | 13 | 22.77 |
Change from last week | 3 | 1 | 4 | 5 | 4 | 4 | 3 | +2.47 |
Foo’s been one of the benefactors of Dube’s great play. Only one of his points this week didn’t have Dube’s name also beside it.
Glenn Gawdin – C/RW, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 53 | 11 | 18 | 29 | 11 | 22 | 8 | 21.82 |

Still progressing nicely with two more assists this week. Just a reminder that Gawdin was a free asset.
Josh Healey – D, Stockton Heat

Change from last week | 3 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | -0.52 |
Just an assist for Joly this week.
Pavel Karnaukhov – LW/C, CSKA Moscow, KHL
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | |
Playoffs | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Hasn’t played since last week, as CSKA was waiting for their round two opponent. Turns out it’s cross-town rivals HC Dynamo Moscow. Should be fun!
Demetrious Koumontzis – LW, Arizona State University, NCAA (Independent)
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 34 | 4 | 16 | 20 | 10 | 16 | 8 | 17.41 |
Change from last week | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | – |
ASU doesn’t have a conference so they aren’t playing a conference tournament. Going to be a quiet two weeks for DK.
Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
SHL Up to date | 42 | 3 | 3 | 6 | 5 | 5 | 4 | 4.57 |

SWE-1 Up to date | 5 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 19.55 |
Change from last week | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | – |
Another goal this week for Lindstrom, matching his career high in points set in his first year with Skelleftea.
Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 47 | 10 | 11 | 21 | 13 | 17 | 9 | 17.81 |
Change from last week | 3 | 2 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 3 | 1 | +1.51 |
If Lomberg finds a path to the NHL, he’ll have to follow the Garnet Hathaway path of being negligible at 5v5 but excellent on the PK. Another shorthanded goal and assist for him this week.
Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Michigan State, NCAA (Big 10)
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 14 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Change from last week | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | – |
MSU was quickly eliminated by Notre Dame in their Big 10 conference tournament, ending their season. Mattson did not play in either game.
Adam Ollas Mattsson – D, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 55 | 5 | 10 | 15 | 9 | 7 | 4 | 10.87 |
Change from last week | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | -0.63 |
No points this week for AOM.
Andrew Nielsen – D, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 32 | 0 | 7 | 7 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 8.72 |
Change from last week | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | – |
Didn’t play this week, as his spot was taken by Michael Stone during his conditioning stint.
Mathias Emilio Pettersen – C/LW, Denver Pioneers, NCAA (NCHC)
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 34 | 6 | 20 | 26 | 14 | 17 | 9 | 27.53 |
Change from last week | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | -1.72 |
MEP’s regular season ends with a whimper, as he goes point-less against Colorado College. He and the Denver Pioneers will face North Dakota in the first round of the NCHC tournament. Regardless of the outcome, Denver is looking to be a lock for the Frozen Four tournament.
Matthew Phillips – RW, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 54 | 11 | 18 | 29 | 19 | 23 | 17 | 21.4 |

Just an assist for Phillips this week.

Change from last week | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | -0.69 |
Taking a not-so-nice dip into irrelevancy.
Martin Pospisil – C/LW, Sioux City Musketeers, USHL
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 33 | 12 | 31 | 43 | 23 | 33 | 16 | 29.92 |
Change from last week | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | – |
Just one more game until Pospisil can return to USHL action. Sioux City needs him back badly, as they’ve only won three games during his 11-game absence.
Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | |
Playoffs | 6 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
Lokomotiv won their final two games against HC Sochi to move onto the second round of the KHL playoffs, where they’ll face SKA St. Petersburg.
Milos Roman – C, Vancouver Giants, WHL
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 58 | 27 | 32 | 59 | 25 | 47 | 17 | 25.19 |
Change from last week | 2 | 0 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 0 | +0.43 |
Not as massive as last week’s nine-point outburst, but enough points to hoist him over the point-per-game mark. Roman is currently in Slovakia writing final exams, but should be back for the playoffs.
Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sudbury Wolves, OHL
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 62 | 29 | 41 | 70 | 37 | 56 | 32 | 29.9 |
Change from last week | 3 | 2 | 2 | 4 | 0 | 3 | 0 | +0.27 |
Still chugging along for Sudbury. Two more goals and two more assists for the revived centreman.
Kerby Rychel – F, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 55 | 23 | 20 | 43 | 28 | 29 | 19 | 31.16 |
Change from last week | 3 | 2 | 1 | 3 | 2 | 3 | 2 | +0.5 |
The usual Rychel returned to action this week, picking up three points in three games.
Filip Sveningsson – LW, IK Oskarshamn, Allsvenskan
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 43 | 15 | 12 | 27 | 12 | 22 | 11 | 30.69 |
Change from last week | 2 | 2 | 1 | 3 | 2 | 3 | 2 | +2.08 |
Sveningsson finished his season with a bang, picking up three points in his final two games. That ensured he finished with the highest PPG rate for U21 players in the Allsvenskan. Pretty good for a pro rookie.
His “playoffs” have also begun, although the Allsvenskan’s playoff system is a bit different from what we would typically consider playoffs. IK Oskarshamn, as the second best team in the league, gets to face AIK in a five-game series to determine who gets to face the worst SHL team in a challenge series to take their spot. Currently, IK Oskarshamn is down 1-0 in the series, but Sveningsson picked up an assist on their lone goal in AIK’s 5-1 beatdown.
Eetu Tuulola – RW, HPK, SM-Liiga
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 59 | 12 | 23 | 35 | 18 | 22 | 11 | 21.99 |
Change from last week | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | -1.18 |
No points for Tuulola. He’s got one week left in his season.
Rinat Valiev – D, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 46 | 3 | 16 | 19 | 10 | 14 | 8 | 16.46 |
Change from last week | 3 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | -0.22 |
Valiev might be stealing the title of “most surprising defenceman” away from AOM. Another goal for him this week, a shorthanded empty netter.
Juuso Valimaki – D, Stockton Heat
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 16 | 2 | 7 | 9 | 6 | 4 | 3 | 29.89 |
Change from last week | 3 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | +2.3 |
Picked up his second AHL goal this week. Barring any injuries, I think he spends his time in the AHL for the rest of the year.
Dmitri Zavgorodniy – C/LW, Rimouski Oceanic, QMJHL
GP | G | A | P | 5v5 P | P1 | 5v5 P1 | NHLe
Up to date | 66 | 28 | 36 | 64 | 34 | 44 | 23 | 22.94 |
Change from last week | 3 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | -0.35 |
Just a goal for Zavgorodniy this week.
Jon Gillies – G, Stockton Heat
GP | TOI | SV% | |
Up to date | 37 | 2113 | 0.883 |
Change from last week | 3 | 184 | +0.002 |
Stopped 29 of 34 in a wild one against San Diego (0.853), bounced back with a 36/37 (0.973), but then collapsed late against San Jose to ruin an otherwise great performance (31/35, 0.886).
Mason McDonald – G, Kansas City Mavericks
GP | TOI | SV% | |
Up to date | 29 | 1632 | 0.918 |
Change from last week | 3 | 185 | +0.002 |
A 30-save shutout, a decent 26/29 performance (0.906), and a below average 25/28 performance (0.893). His career is on the line, so he certainly needs to make the most of these next few weeks.
Tyler Parsons – G, Stockton Heat
GP | TOI | SV% | |
Up to date | 15 | 783 | 0.891 |
Change from last week | – | – | – |
Hasn’t played a while. He’s still dressing as a backup, so it’s not as if he’s injured. Wonder what’s going on here.
Nick Schneider – G, Kansas City Mavericks

Also not playing, though the reasoning is more justified.
