It’s a sad day to see no Calgary Flames hockey on a massive 12-game NHL slate tonight. Luckily for Flames Nation bettors, there are multiple angles to make you a little bit of money tonight — let’s get into it.
Tonight’s expected goaltender match-ups for our highlighted games:
The Montreal Canadiens’ Samuel Montembeault (13-10-4) vs. The Florida Panthers’ Anthony Stolarz (10-5-2).
The Buffalo Sabres’ Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (17-15-2) vs. The Tampa Bay Lightning’s Andrei Vasilevskiy (20-15).

Florida Panthers to score a power play goal (-167)

Your $15.00 bet would return $24.00.
This is not your typical play from Flames Nation bettors, but this is a shocking price that needs to be taken advantage of.
The Panthers have the second-best power play percentage over their last 10 games, converting at a 37.5% rate and have a power play goal in eight of those 10 games.
The Canadiens allow the third most power play opportunities against, averaging 3.4 per game. Montreal’s penalty kill ranks as the third worst in the league, killing penalties at a 73.8% rate on the season.
In the previous two games, these teams have played against each other this season, Florida has a power play goal in both games and has converted on three of their seven opportunities — that’s 43%.

Brayden Point over 2.5 shots on goal (-150)

Your $15.00 bet would return $25.00.
Brayden Point has covered this line in seven straight games, averaging 3.9 shots on 6.0 shot attempts. On home ice, Point has covered in nine consecutive games, averaging 3.8 shots on 6.0 shot attempts. Looking into his full-season home splits, Point is clearing at a 75% clip, averaging 3.2 shots on 5.1 shot attempts.
Against the Sabres, Point has cleared this line in two of his last three games, averaging 4.3 shots on 6.3 shot attempts. Buffalo allows the 10th most shots to centremen, averaging 11.7 per game. Ranking in the middle of the pack in power play opportunities against, the Sabres allow 3.2 per game — Point is third on the Lightning in power play shots and shot attempts.

Connor Bedard goal (+175)

Your $5.00 bet would return $13.75.
Connor Bedard has two goals in his six games since his return. Tonight’s opponent is the Colorado Avalanche. Justus Annunen gets the start in goal for the Avalanche, who has struggled in his four games so far this season with a 3.50 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage.
The shot volume is what is most intriguing about this play. Since Bedard’s return, he is averaging 2.8 shots on 5.7 shot attempts. The Avalanche are allowing the most shots on goal to centres — don’t be surprised to see Bedard use his lethal shot and find the twine tonight.
