Our pals over in Russia have wrapped up their season. In a week, our friends in Sweden and Finland (and potentially, Adam Fox) will be finished, too. The week after, the CHL kids. Is hockey really coming to a close so soon (or not soon enough, depending on how interested you still are in NHL hockey?)?

In case you missed it

Rasmus Andersson – D, Stockton Heat, AHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current477283522201428.7
Change from last week2022110+0.44
Andersson had a ho-hum week, picking up two assists in two games. Pretty standard fare by this point in the season.

Austin Carroll – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current285277669.64
Change from last week2000000-0.74
Carroll did not record any points this week, the first time that’s happened in a month. Hopefully he gets back on the wagon.

Dillon Dube – C/LW, Kelowna Rockets, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current4832407239553035.67
Change from last week4055443-0.54
Five assists in four games for Dube. He’s pretty good!

Zach Fischer – RW, Spokane Chiefs, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current4622143625252018.61
Change from last week00000000
Still injured with a UBI. No timetable for a return.

Spencer Foo – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current5016163215261124.67
Change from last week2123020+1.39
Foo is quietly riding a six-game point streak, having picked up eight points in his last few contests. He’s looked much better as the season has gone on, have become a handy powerplay tool for the Heat and their best shot generator.

Adam Fox – D, Harvard Crimson, ECAC

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current253172069215.09
Change from last week00000000
Didn’t play this week. Will play next weekend in the ECAC tournament against Dartmouth, a best of three series. Dartmouth has taken Harvard to task during the regular season, so if that holds true, Fox watch could begin as early as the 10th.

Glenn Gawdin – C/RW, Swift Current Broncos, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current65556712262944844.63
Change from last week3156262+0.14
Gawdin was named the WHL player of the month for February, a month in which he picked up 30 points in 14 games. Pretty good.

Josh Healey – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current370332213.12
Change from last week1011111+0.98
Played a game of hockey this week and picked up an assist. Then he was scratched the next game, for whatever reason.

Jaromir Jagr – RW, Rytiri Kladno, Czech.1

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current504442218.37
Change from last week00000000
Our oldest prospect suffered a concussion and hasn’t played since.

D’Artagnan Joly – RW, Baie-Comeau Drakkar, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current4922406236523125.94
Change from last week2022116-0.77
After an explosive three points per game week for D’Artagnan, he has calmed down to a mere point per game.
Also of interest:

Pavel Karnaukhov – LW/C, CSKA Moscow, KHL/Zvezda, VHL

Karnaukhov is still currently playing in the playoffs (I don’t track playoff stats) against Zauralye Kurgan. He’s played one game.

Morgan Klimchuk – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current4918163421281826.74
Change from last week2213232+1.32
Someone definitely said something to Klimchuk while he was up in Calgary on call-up, ’cause he’s been playing lights out. Another three-point week for him.

Oliver Kylington – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current463242718181322.62
Change from last week2000000-1.03
No points for Kylington this week.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current383143325.01
Change from last week2000000-0.43
Just two games for ol’ Linus this week.

Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current4051116149815.42
Change from last week2000000-0.8
Two games for Lomberg this week, who is apparently not that enthusiastic to get back into the NHL.

Andrew Mangiapane – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current3821254626352246.65
Change from last week2224242+1.69
He might be too good for the AHL.

Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Sioux Falls Stampede, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current449112015181310.44
Change from last week00000000

Emile Poirier – LW/RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current504172113181116.19

Two games, no points for Poirier.

Brett Pollock – LW/C, Stockton Heat, AHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current2963967511.96

Scored a clutch, game-tying goal in Stockton’s comeback win against San Diego.

Daniel Pribyl – RW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current00000000
Still injured.

Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL

Not in the playoffs on account of being injured.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sarnia Sting, OHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date5934367036593129.19
Change from last week3120111-1.56
Odd statistical week for Ruzicka, who scored three points but also lost three points thanks to a stat correction. Big ups to the Ontario Hockey League for making me re-tally all of his data.

Hunter Shinkaruk – F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4915112616221520.45

Parsons’ return from injury couldn’t have gone any worse. In his first game back, he allowed five goals on 29 shots (.828 SV%) and was pulled 10 minutes into his second game after allowing three goals on nine shots. He’s had a rough rookie pro season, having suffered at least three injuries that required time off. The general goaltending instability in Calgary also means he couldn’t get properly acclimated in the ECHL, so I feel that’s also to blame. Not concerned about his performances right now.

Nick Schneider – G, Calgary Hitmen, WHL

GPTOISV%SA
Current5730090.8851741

Played four games, allowing six goals against Swift Current (.823 SV%) and four against Edmonton (.862 SV%), but held Red Deer (.921 SV%) and Regina (.912 SV%) to just three goals each.
