I hear it’s good when you score a lot of them.

In case you missed it:

Yasin Ehliz – LW/RW, Stockton Heat

Still hasn’t played since the season opener.

Spencer Foo – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe

Just an assist for Foo this week.

Glenn Gawdin – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date41011119.96
Change from last week2000000-9.97
Two games, but nothing doing for Gawdin this week.

Josh Healey – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date40000000
Change from last week20000000
Suited up for both games this weekend.

D’Artagnan Joly – RW/C, Baie-Comeau Drakkar, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date11651178523.29
Change from last week3112111-2.91
Joly had a pretty slow week.

Pavel Karnaukhov – LW/C, CSKA Moscow, KHL/Zvezda, VHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date (KHL)511222226.37
Change from last week2011111+4.39
Up to date (VHL)311222220.77
Change from last week
Karnaukhov seems to have finally established himself in the KHL after picking up another point this week. Hopefully he can keep up the production and actually become a player worth more than a quick glance.

Morgan Klimchuk – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date412321129.89
Change from last week2011100-9.96
Just an assist for Klimchuk this week.

Demetrious Koumontzis – LW, Arizona State University, NCAA (Independent)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date412322222.2
Change from last week2011000-7.4
Arizona State’s season got their first real test this year against #1 Ohio State. They lost twice in two very competitive games, but Koumontzis came away with an assist.

Oliver Kylington – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date421333329.89
Change from last week2213333+29.89
The gear for Stockton’s defence, Kylington was the catalyst for Stockton’s comeback against Ontario. If he can keep it up, it’s going to be hard to keep him out of the NHL.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date81011114
Change from last week1000000-0.57
Lindstrom’s struggles have continued. He hasn’t taken a shot on goal in the last four games, and was accordingly demoted to the fourth line in the only game Skelleftea played this week.

Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date402221119.93
Change from last week2022211+19.93
Lomberg seems to have developed chemistry with Kerby Rychel, assisting on two of his goals this week. Given that it’s the last year of his contract, it would be imperative that Lomberg becomes something other than a bottom six AHL energy guy if he wants to stick around.

Andrew Mangiapane – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date402212119.93
Change from last week2022121+19.93
Picked up his first two points of the season. Still behind the curve compared to last year’s Mangiapane, which could make things difficult if he’s trying to come out as #1 on the recall list.

Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Michigan State, NCAA (Big 10)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date20000000
Change from last week
Mattson made his long awaited NCAA debut, two years after he was drafted by the club. Didn’t do much.

Adam Ollas Mattsson – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date40000000
Change from last week20000000
Still on Stockton’s top pairing with Kylington. Doesn’t have the offensive skills, but has been decent so far.

Mathias Emilio Pettersen- C/LW, Denver Pioneers, NCAA (NCHC)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date213433372
Change from last week
Denver had an easy opening weekend against Air Force and Alabama Huntsville, but Pettersen made the most of it, introducing himself to the NCAA world with a three-point debut.
He was named the NCHC rookie of the week.

Matthew Phillips – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date30000000
Change from last week20000000
Had a goal, but it was waived off on review. Generally good.

Martin Pospisil – C/LW, Sioux City Musketeers, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date435855345.92
Change from last week11121110
Maintained his league-leading 2.0 PPG average in Sioux City’s one game this week. That’s tied with Jack Hughes, clear favourite for the #1 draft pick at the 2019 draft. Not saying they’re the same thing, but they’re definitely the same thing.

Brett Pollock – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date30000000
Change from last week10000000
Scratched once, played once, didn’t make much of an impact.

Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1112322217.98
Change from last week3123222+17.98
Added his first few points of the season after a slow start derailed by injury.

Milos Roman – C, Vancouver Giants, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1054957322.29
Change from last week3404141+4.60
Roman has been heating up, picking up four goals this past week (two powerplay, one extra attacker, one 5v5) after a very slow start to the season. He’s probably not going to keep up that torrid pace, but if it gets the rest of his game rolling, that’s nothing but good news for Flames fans.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sarnia Sting, OHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date933956426.49
Change from last week30332210
The third straight week Ruzicka has maintained a 1.0 PPG average. He struggled with consistency in his first two years, so this is certainly a welcome development to his game. However, you do wish he would be able to take things to higher levels as someone in their third OHL season.

Kerby Rychel – F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date443744369.74
Change from last week2336332+50.81
Rychel has generally been a tweener throughout his career, but he’s currently playing like he doesn’t want to remain in AHL exile for the rest of it. Given that he’s producing while no one else is, it’s kind of hard to not call him up should someone on the main roster go down. Maybe he’s actually something, but you can’t figure that out if you don’t try.

Filip Sveningsson – LW, IK Oskarshamn, Allsvenskan

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date963948454.30
Change from last week3426363+29.86
Sveningsson exploded this week, picking up a hat trick and another goal in three games. The Allsvenskan isn’t the top Swedish men’s league, but it is still a men’s league and Sveningsson is currently tied for sixth in scoring. He’s first among U20 Allsvenskan players, too.

Eetu Tuulola – RW, HPK, SM-Liiga

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1214522115.44
Change from last week3011000-1.03
I think part of Tuulola’s struggles recently have been bad puck luck. He only has one goal on 40 shots (!!!) this season, good for a shooting percentage of 2.5% despite averaging a little over three shots per game. Given that he averaged around 12% last season, he’s probably due for a goal explosion sometime in the near future.

Dmitri Zavgorodniy – C/LW, Rimouski Oceanic, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date11712191112740.22
Change from last week3044321-3.45
Zavgorodniy is currently second in QMJHL scoring and first in 5v5 scoring. At the pace he is scoring at, he will finish at just under 120 points when it’s all said and done. He only turned 18 in August.

Jon Gillies – G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%
Up to date3154.110.831
Change from last week160.63+0.018
Gillies put up a not great performance against Ontario, going 25/29 (0.862 SV%), but it was enough for the win.

Tyler Parsons – G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%
Up to date228.530.767
Change from last week158.27+0.017
Another rough one for Parsons, going 18/23 (0.782 SV%) against San Jose. That’s no good.

Nick Schneider – G, Kansas City Mavericks

GPTOISV%
Up to date1600.952
Change from last week
To prove that the universe has a sense of humour, the current best goalie in the entire Flames organization is Nick Schneider. Do with that information what you will.
