With junior hockey trade deadlines passing and just about a third of the season left to get underway, it’s time for playoff pushes. How will Flames prospects perform?

In case you missed it:

Dillon Dube – F, Stockton Heat, AHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date11291166339.85
Change from last week31231210
With three points in three games since returning, Dube does not appear to be content in the AHL. There’s not really a spot open right now in Calgary, but he seems like the de facto call-up should one open up.

Zach Fischer – RW, Kansas City Mavericks, ECHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date263586657.06
Change from last week3213121+1.84
Fischer’s had his best week so far as a professional, picking up two big goals and an assist. He’s on the KC powerplay now, which is where he saw some success in the WHL. Perhaps that’s the key to unlocking him.

Spencer Foo – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date37109191015720.46
Change from last week3011010-0.64
Just an assist for Foo this week.

Glenn Gawdin – C/RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date338816615519.32
Change from last week3123221+2.05
Gawdin also had a fine week, picking up three points. He also picked up his first non-primary point of the year.

Josh Healey – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date291565338.25
Change from last week2000000-0.61
Two games and a scratch for Healey this week.

D’Artagnan Joly – RW/C, Rimouski Oceanic

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3912162817211316.72
Change from last week3000000-1.35
Joly’s struggles seem to have followed him to his new team. He hasn’t scored since his debut weekend with Rimouski.

Pavel Karnaukhov – LW/C, CSKA Moscow, KHL/Zvezda, VHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date (KHL)2434776619.23
Change from last week3000000-2.75
Up to date (VHL)941555517.31

No points for Karnaukhov this week.

Demetrious Koumontzis – LW, Arizona State University, NCAA (Independent)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date261101149312.52
Change from last week2011000+0.19
Koumontzis picked up his first assist since December even though Cornell swept ASU.

Oliver Kylington – D, Stockton Heat – X

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date187714810831
Change from last week
Still in Calgary. I’ve been tempted to remove him from this list, but I know as soon as I do he’ll be reassigned to Stockton.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date29123221331
Change from last week2000000-0.24
Somehow only played 68 seconds in Skelleftea’s game against Tikra.

Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date27551088614.76
Change from last week3011111-0.18
Just another assist for Lomberg this week.

Andrew Mangiapane – LW/C, Stockton Heat – X

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date137714810742.92
Change from last week
First point, hopefully of many, for Mangiapane in the NHL.

Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Michigan State, NCAA (Big 10)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date90000000
Change from last week10000000
Just played in one of two games this week for MSU.

Adam Ollas Mattsson – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date35461076411.38
Change from last week2000000-1.07
No points for AOM this week, although he did have an assist stat corrected to a goal.

Andrew Nielsen – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date200553329.96
Change from last week2000000-1.11
Two games for Nielsen this week, no points.

Mathias Emilio Pettersen – C/LW, Denver Pioneers, NCAA (NCHC)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date2051520912536
Change from last week20221210
Still rocking a point-per-game pace. That’s good for fifth among freshman scorers, but MEP is the youngest of the top five.

Matthew Phillips – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3410132314171326.96
Change from last week3000000-2.61
Just as he was heating up, Phillips hit a speed bump this week. Zero points.

Brett Pollock – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date30291177414.61
Change from last week1000000-0.51
Injured, I believe.

Martin Pospisil – C/LW, Sioux City Musketeers, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date2511263720291433.98
Change from last week3033121-4.69
Pospisil picked up three assists in his return to the USHL. That did some damage to his NHLe, unfortunately, but still a bit ridiculous that the kid can go a point-per-game and somehow fall below his own expectations.

Rushan Rafikov – D, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, KHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date40371076516.84
Change from last week3000100-0.98
Three games, no points for Rafikov.

Milos Roman – C, Vancouver Giants, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3418163415291024.76
Change from last week2123232+0.77
Another stellar week for Roman, who picked up a goal and two assists in a big win against Kamloops.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sudbury Wolves, OHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3813274019291627.88
Change from last week3213222-0.12
Ruzicka was traded to Sudbury in the Wolves’ push for the OHL title, netting a return of three picks. He’s brought his consistent, strong play there so far, picking up a point in every game he’s played for Sudbury.

Kerby Rychel – F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date3516153120211335.3
Change from last week3112110-0.82
Another strong week for Rychel, who picked up a couple of points as per usual.

Filip Sveningsson – LW, IK Oskarshamn, Allsvenskan

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date2791019814734.39
Change from last week1011010+0.56
In his return to Swedish hockey, Sveningsson picked up a powerplay assist in his first game.

Eetu Tuulola – RW, HPK, SM-Liiga

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date37615211013620.39
Change from last week1011100-0.66
The season is far from over, but it appears that Tuulola has peaked at being a useful player once every three or four games. Not looking great.

Rinat Valiev – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date2808853311.83
Change from last week3022111+1.81
Two assists this week from Valiev.

Dmitri Zavgorodniy – C/LW, Rimouski Oceanic, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date4219264525311724.95
Change from last week3022110-0.73
Zavgorodniy hasn’t looked like himself in the last few weeks. He hasn’t really been the same dynamic playmaker he was earlier in the year. Don’t get me wrong, two assists is pretty nice, but it isn’t as promising as what he was doing earlier in the season.

Jon Gillies – G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%
Up to date2412530.867
Change from last week2118+0.002
A Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for Gillies. He allowed six on 40 (0.850%) against San Diego, but followed it up by stopping 31 of 33 (0.939%) against San Jose.

Mason McDonald – G, Kansas City Mavericks

GPTOISV%

Neither he nor Schneider played this week. No word as to why.

Tyler Parsons – G, Stockton Heat
