FlamesNation Prospect Update: Pospisil takes control

Famed for his high penalty numbers pre-draft, 2018 Flames pick Martin Pospisil has returned to be the leading scorer in the USHL, hitting just under two points per game. Not a bad transformation to make, especially when you’ve been written off as a coke machine since being drafted.

Gawdin has been one of the early season surprises, becoming one of the more reliable producers from the Stockton bottom six. He’s mostly a powerplay option thus far, but he’s been strong in that role and should eventually start seeing more production at other areas of the game.
